The Toronto Engineering Club of Speakers (TECS) Toastmasters is an open club in Downtown Toronto. Our club serves a diverse engineering community providing an opportunity to learn and develop leadership and formal communication skills, inspiration to develop innovative ideas, and a social and professional network, all in a structured program that is supportive, welcoming and entertaining

Increasingly, advancing in our careers depends on being able to communicate ideas, make persuasive fact-based arguments, and motivate teammates. Our club allows you to learn these skills at your own pace in a safe, welcoming environment with a diverse range of skill levels.

Become more persuasive and confident in your personal and professional life.  Learn and grow from positive, constructive feedback. Learn to think on your feet from fun activities.

Our members grow and develop by taking on structured meeting roles and completing speeches in the Toastmasters Educational Program. While most of our members are engineers or engineering students, we are open to all.

Are you looking to improve your speaking, communication and leadership skills? Join us Tuesday evenings as a guest and see what our club is all about. Learn more about the Pathways Learning Experience.
